MEN'S CENTRAL LEAGUE 2 | 2025
Following a comprehensive consultation process with 36 clubs across the two Federations, Capital Football and Central Football Boards have agreed to introduce Men’s Central League 2 in 2025.
Across both Federations there was strong support for the introduction (or re-introduction) of Men’s Central League 2 with 79% of Capital clubs and 85% of Central clubs in support of the league.
The change in structure follows on from changes made to the National League System in 2021 and the re-introduction of a club based National League.
The changes made by Capital and Central provide an opportunity for more clubs to compete in the National League pathway, closing the gap on and off the field between the current Federation Leagues (Men’s Capital Premier and Central Federation League) and the Men’s Central League.
