Christchurch Netball has launched the Centre Pass Fund, a new initiative designed to reduce financial barriers and open more doors for tamariki, rangatahi, coaches and game officials across Ōtautahi to participate, grow and thrive through netball. The fund will provide individualised support for those who may otherwise miss out, whether it’s a young person trying netball for the first time, an athlete progressing into a representative programme, or a coach or game official taking their next development step. 

In the season known for the spirit of giving, Christchurch Netball invites donations to this new fund.  Give support, give opportunities and give the gift of a Centre Pass. 


The Centre Pass Fund is supported through community donations. Supporters can choose from two ways to give: 

  • Give $10+ Add Your Name to the Giving Tree 

Individuals, families, teams and businesses can purchase a personalised ornament for the Giving Tree at the Netball Sports Centre. Every ornament represents a commitment to helping more people access the sport they love. 

  • Give $500+ Leave a Legacy on the Team Effort Wall 

A contribution of $500 or more will be recognised with a permanent Team Effort ball on the donor wall — displayed for the lifetime of the facility.

Application open March 2026 

Individuals, clubs and community organisations will be able to apply for support from March 2026.
