Registrations are Now Open for Junior Summer League!

Dates: Tuesday 21st October - Tuesday 9th December 

Registrations close Tuesday 14th October.

Junior Summer League is a social competition. There are no prizes. It is about participation and having fun! 

HPNC follows the Netball New Zealand future Ferns format, as follows:

• Year 3 & 4 play 5-aside
• Year 5 & 6 play 6-aside
• Year 7 & 8 play 7-aside

Teams may have up to 3 male players on court at any one time, one in each section (shooting, mid-court and defence).

Grades may be merged depending on registration numbers. 

SEASON

Games are played on Tuesday evenings and the competition is 8 weeks long. Season commences on the 21st of October - 9th Decemeber. The final night is a fun night and we encourage all to teams to dress up!

GAMES

40 minutes (4 x 10 min quarters)*

Provisional Game Times: 4:20pm, 5.10pm 

FEES

• Year 3 & 4: $200 (Includes 5 players) plus $40 each additional player
• Year 5 & 6:  $240 (Includes 6 players) plus $40 each additional player
• Year 7 & 8:  $280 (Includes 7 players) plus $40 each additional player

UMPIRES

Each team must provide their own umpires.

Year 3 and 4 matches do not have an official umpire, the game is instead run by the coaches, managers, or parents.

Umpires do not have to hold a formal qualification, though they need to have a solid grasp of the rules of netball.
