FAST FUND

The Tū Manawa Fast Fund

This fund supports a wide range of Hawke’s Bay organisations to help break down barriers to participation in physical activity, by providing opportunities for tamariki and rangatahi who are statistically less likely to participate in regular physical activity. For example:

  • Young women and girls (5-18 years)
  • Tamariki and rangatahi with a physical or mental impairment (5-18 years and including those in schools up to the age of 21).

We're also aiming to work more closely with communities identified as having less access to regular physical activity opportunities including;

Wairoa

Tamatea

Maraenui

Hastings West

Takapau

The fund can be used for things such as equipment purchases, delivery costs, venue hire or many other associated costs. Whatever your idea is to deliver physical activity programmes for tamariki and rangatahi, we’re here to help you bring it to life.

The panel meets every two months to consider applications up to $8,000
