That's a wrap!!
As the 2025/2026 Summer Senior Touch Module comes to an end, I would firstly like to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of our amazing teams who entered this season.
It was so great seeing so many familiar faces return, and also meeting so many new ones. Touch truly has such an awesome community/whānau vibe, and I’m definitely here for it!
I would also like to give a special thank you to our sponsors TTim Hansen - Real Estate - HarcourtsHUGE shout out to Tim Hansen. Tim has not only been a sponsor, but an incredible support for me personally throughout this somewhat tough process. Your guidance and encouragement has meant so much, thank you for always being there.
A massive thank you as well to Graeme Wallace. Many of you will know Graeme from running the Touch Module last season. He still worked behind the scenes to help push us through the season.
To our amazing Sarah and her bar staff, along with our kitchen team Hunting Kiwi Hospitality, thank you for helping make the season so enjoyable. Making sure our teams and families had cold drinks and delicious food flowing every week does not go unnoticed.
On a more personal note, I want to thank my son Brooklyn for all your help out on the deck with the hooter and scoreboard, allowing me to be boots on the grass where I was needed. I appreciate you more than you know.
A big thank you also to Nick, our amazing Club Manager, for all your support, always making sure I had everything I needed and even sticking around after long days in the office to support me down at the club. Your help has meant a lot to me & I am forever greatful.
And LAST BUT DEFINITELY NOT LEAST - to my team of referees!
Thank you all for showing up every week. Without you, those teams simply couldn’t play. I know for some of you it was tough out there while you were still learning, but you pushed through and you made it. I’m incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
With that said… that’s a wrap for the 2025/2026 Touch Season!
Thank you all for being part of such a great season, and I hope to see every one of you back again next year!
