Wellington Touch Pathway & High Performance, adopt 2014 Vulnerable Children's Act
While WTA have adopted the 2014 Vulnerable Children’s Act the Association is looking to Touch NZ for guidance to develop appropriate policies to meet their obligations in regards to the Act. As these policies develop they will be available on this page. The purpose of these policies will be to safeguard our young vulnerable children and subsequently any persons working with and behalf of WTA that have engagement with our youth participants. As a base WTA has brought in the safety component of police vetting all participants in our programme (coaches, managers, committee, Executive Board) this ensure we are meeting the legal requirements of the act where all core workers are vetted for certain specific criminal convictions.
