Whether you want to reach your own personal potential with athletics, or aspire to perform at an international level, the Bays Athletics X-Squad will help you achieve your goals.
Upon joining the Bays Athletics X-Squad, young athletes are introduced to the full spectrum of athletic disciplines alongside key skill development designed to enhance speed, power, strength, and coordination in a fun environment. As they mature and develop through the program the young athletes begin to specialise in the event group for which they show the greatest potential.
The programme develops a structured and specific long-term athlete development plan for all athletes. It takes into account age, ability, and relative performance measures. The development pathway of all athletes is closely monitored and adjusted according to individual needs.
The skills taught through this squad have helped many Bays athletes to produce top performances. They are vital for long term sporting development and strengthen athletes against potential injuries. The goal of the squad is to progress the athlete’s abilities towards higher levels of training and competition in the future.
