1st XI Football coach  

This is a fantastic opportunity in 2026 for an enthusiastic coach who wants to develop their skills to a higher level and to let your passion empower our students to thrive at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Premier National tournament. Our ambitious team won the Christchurch Schools competition in 2025 and are now looking to take their game to the next level.  

The successful applicant will have a minimum of the New Zealand football youth level 2 qualification and be experienced in planning innovative training sessions that extend our talented players. It is essential that applicants have the ability to motivate and engage young athletes. Training commitments will be two sessions a week and a game with a requirement to meet at 2.45pm for games on a Wednesday through the season. 

Additional Information 

• You will receive full support from the school's sports department who will provide all apparel and equipment resources required for the season.  
• You will need to supply information for a police background check required for working with our students. 

Remuneration  

This is a fixed fee paid position which would cover reimbursement of expenses and incidental costs incurred that are associated with coaching at any training and/or games and all travel costs associated with attending practices and games throughout the season.
