These are for coaches and managers of Year 4 to Year 6 teams.  Very important for Year 4 & 5 as we cover the rotations.

PRIMARY INFORMATION

At Barfoot & Thompson Netball Centre, Northcote​​​​​​​

Year 4 - Mondays

Year 5 & 6 - Wednesdays

At Edith Hopper Park, Manly

Year 4 & 5 - Thursdays

Year 6  - Wednesdays

At Westlake Girls High School

Year 4 to 6 - Saturdays

Registration for our winter competition is through your school. Please contact your school to play in 2025.  Club netball is not for Primary aged players.  

Year 4

  • Year 4 play on Mondays at Netball North Harbour and Thursdays at Hibisucs Coast. Round times are 4.00 pm, 4.50 pm, 5.20 pm.
  • Year 4 play on Saturdays at Westlake Girls approximately 8.30 and 9.20 am.
  • Year 4 play 7 a-side rotational netball, players make positional changes each quarter.
  • 4 x 10 minute quarters. Modified hoop hieght 2.6m and Size 4 ball.
  • Teams to supply their own umpire.

Year 5

  • Year 5 play on Wednesdays at Netball North Harbour and Thursdays at Hibisucs Coast AND Tuesdays at Warkwoth (New in 2026). Round times are 4.00 pm, 4.50 pm, 5.20 pm and 6.30 pm - dependent on where you are.
  • Year 5 play on Saturdays at Westlake Girls approximately 9.20 am, 10.10 am and 11.00 am.
  • Year 5 play 7 a-side rotational netball, players make positional changes each quarter.
  • 4 x 10 minute quarters. Modified hoop hieght 2.6m and Size 4 ball.
  • Teams to supply their own umpire.

Year 6

  • Year 6 play on Wednesdays at Netball North Harbour and Hibiscus Coast AND Tuesdays at Warkworth (New in 2026). Round times are 4.50 pm, 5.20 pm and 6.30 pm dependent on where you are playing.
  • Year 6 play on Saturdays Westlake Girls at 10.10 am, 11.00 am and 12.10 pm.
  • Year 6 play 7 a-side netball as per usual rules, ie no modifications. Normal hoop height of 3.05m and size 5 ball.
  • 4 x 10 minute quarters.
  • Teams to supply their own umpire.

    PLEASE NOTE ALL THE INFORMATION ABOVE IS DEPENDENT ON TEAM NUMBERS ENTERED AS TO TIMES OF ROUNDS, ETC.

    Maximum number recommended for all Year 4, 5 and 6 teams is 10 players.  

    All Primary netball has half the season with grading games, followed by a round robin of competition games where goals are counted and points awarded. To view the rules regarding Primary Games at Netball North Harbour, please view the downloads below.
