Food & Nutrition Technician – Permanent Part-Time

St Patrick’s College Silverstream invites applications for a permanent part-time Food & Nutrition Technician. This position has become available due to a retirement.

Hours

4 hours 30 minutes per week term time only, worked as:

  • 1 hour 30 minutes, three days per week, or

  • Split across two days (by agreement)

  • Flexibility may be required to assist with end-of-term cleaning

Start Date: Monday 20 April 2026 (start of Term 2)

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong organisational skills and practical judgement/common sense

  • Able to work independently

  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions

  • Confident supervising student helpers

Knowledge & Experience

  • Food and ingredient knowledge is helpful

  • Food Safety and Food Hygiene knowledge is essential

Technical Skills

  • Ability to use kitchen equipment (e.g., dishwasher, food processor, rice cooker, etc.)

  • Intermediate computer skills
