Are you an enthusiastic, passionate, and growth-minded kaiako who thrives on making a difference? Do you value building strong, positive relationships with our ākonga, whānau, staff, and community? If that sounds like you – Taradale Intermediate is the kura you’ve been looking for!

We’re on the hunt for those special someone’s to join our vibrant, future-focused team in 2026.  Beginning teachers are encouraged to apply.

Our new kaiako will:

  • Bring learning alive through culturally responsive practice, engaging ākonga and supporting their hauora.
  • Have a strong all-round curriculum kete, underpinned by sound pedagogy.
  • Create an inclusive and innovative learning environment where learner agency, collaboration, and creativity can flourish.
  • Be a team player who is proactive, solution-focused, and has a great sense of humour (we love to have fun while doing mahi that matters!).
  • Be an integral part of the extra-curricular life of the school.
