16 October SHREK

Lunchtime rehearsal today for the wedding scene. We need to see: 

Bishop, Fiona, Farquaad, Shrek, Donkey, Duloc Dancers, Pinocchio, 3 bears, witch, 3 pigs, dwarf, dragon, storytellers

Reminders: 

Thursday (today) after school: everyone involved in scenes after the dragon song. 

Friday: photo day is tomorrow! Make sure you have all of your costume items at school and your hair done

Sunday 1-4pm: Full show runthrough for all cast and crew.

Boy's Football - Palmerston North

We will run this practice at 7.45am on TOMORROW - FRIDAY morning on the field.

Toa Whakaihuwaka Boys Basketball squad - practice today with Jimmy 1.25 to 2.30pm on the court.

Week 2 & Week 3 - Inter class Ki-O-Rahi Tournament

Its time to make up your class teams, games start during lunchtime next week.  Meet out on the pitch ready to play by 12.45pm.

Someone has grabbed the wrong scooter after school. A pink and black scooter was taken, leaving behind a similar, but not identical scooter.

The scooter that was taken is named on the underside of the scooter, so please double check if you have a pink and black scooter.

Minecraft Club
Lunchtime on Tuesdays after lunch eating in the Digi Den
All students who are wanting to attend Minecraft club this will only be on a Tuesday moving forward.
Reminder students must have Minecraft already installed and sign in on their own device.

WEEK TWO

SUMMER UNIFORM

Reminder that we are now in summer uniform which means no stockings or thermals to be worn.  No jackets to be worn in class.

Caps and hats should be worn at break times and for PE.  There are a limited number of caps available from the office.

Girls Cricket 

Are you keen to give cricket a go?

Taradale Cricket Club has an exciting opportunity for our Year 7 and 8 girls! Come along to the Taradale Park Cricket Nets on Wednesday afternoons for weekly cricket training sessions.

All abilities are welcome — no prior experience is needed. You can join in for one session or come along each week throughout the term.

There’s no cost involved — just bring a positive attitude and a willingness to give it a go! The details are below. 

Girls Cricket Training Details:
Who: Girls in Year 7–8
When: Wednesdays, 4:15pm – 5:15/5:30pm
Start Date: Wednesday, 15th October 2025
Where: Taradale Park Cricket Nets

Players don’t need their own gear, but if you have some, you can bring it along.
