Affiliating with Canoe Slalom New Zealand (CSNZ) is a key step in ensuring that all member clubs are aligned with national standards and are supported to operate effectively. Affiliated clubs contribute to a strong, connected community that delivers quality events, builds capability, and fosters the continued growth and development of canoe slalom across Aotearoa.
The purpose of club affiliation is to ensure consistency, safety, and quality in the delivery of canoe slalom activities and competitions. It helps clubs access resources, support, and national recognition, while contributing to the sustainability and future of the sport.
To become affiliated with CSNZ, clubs must complete the following:
Submit a Club Affiliation Form
Pay the Annual Club Affiliation Fee
Sign the CSNZ Club Code of Conduct
Affiliation is valid for the calendar year, running from 1 January to 31 December, and must be renewed annually.
CSNZ welcomes new and emerging clubs into the network and encourages those interested in forming or affiliating a club to reach out to us. Whether your club is focused on grassroots paddling or developing high-performance athletes, being part of the national body provides opportunities for connection, support, and shared success.
