Tauranga will be buzzing with over 20,000 visitors! It’s going to be busy on the roads, but Tauranga City Council and Bay of Plenty Regional Council are making it simple to travel sustainably and get to your games with free buses.

FREE ZESPRI AIMS GAMES LOOP BUSES

The Zespri AIMS Games loop buses are free for everyone in the community for the week of the Games (Monday, 1 September - Friday, 5 September).

Buses will run on a continuous 30-minute loop around these Mount Maunganui and Pāpāmoa bus stops:

• Mount Hot Pools

• Mount Mainstreet Shops

• Blake Park

• Baywave

• Mercury Baypark – free parking area

• Gordon Spratt Reserve – free parking area

BUS LANE STICKERS - SCHOOL MINIVANS

Mini vans are entitled to use bus lanes in Tauranga City. If your team's transport is a 9+ seater vehicle, feel free to download the A4 poster at this link and stick it on the inside of the rear window of your school's minivan.

FREE BAYHOPPER BUSES

All Tauranga and Western Bay Bayhopper buses will be free for athletes, referees, and coaches for the week of the Games. Simply show your Zespri AIMS Games app to the driver to ride for free. (Please note, parents and family members are not eligible unless they are a coach or referee. Buses accept cash or Bee Card.)When catching the Bayhopper bus

• Head to your closest bus stop, wave down the driver, and show your Zespri AIMS Games app when you board

FREE OPENING CEREMONY PARK AND RIDE BUSES

To help everyone get to the Zespri AIMS Games opening ceremonies, there will be dedicated park and ride buses running to and from Mercury Baypark. Park and ride locations for the opening ceremonies are at Gordon Spratt Reserve and Blake Park.
