The core focus for junior Netball here in the Manawatū is developing the fundamental netball skills of our young players while providing a fun and exciting game that grows with them. Netball for our junior players is modified in a way where players get to pass, catch, and shoot right from their very first game, creating a quality first experience. This helps to create more successes within the game in a fun and friendly environment and in turn, create a love for our great sport.
Term 4 Year 5&6 Netball.
For Term 4 the focus is letting the kids enjoy a full 7 v 7 netball game, giving the Term 1 students the chance to put all those skills from Ter 1 into practice on the court. Players who didnt participate in Term 1 are also encouraged to join a team and come and play aswell. ITs a great way to get a taste of netball especially for this years Yr 6 students who will all be heading into Yr 7 next year and into our Intermediate Competition for the main Winter season in 2026.
