What's our Saturday winter competition format?

We offer a number of playing options for serious Premier to those who miss out on top grade selection to more social players. Collegiate competitions run 13 weeks played May to August. Premier/premier reserve/senior competitions run 16 weeks played April to August.

Premier 1-3 grades are the top of our competition. Premier grades comprise top club and college teams and feeds up into ANZ Premiership teams, National Netball League and representative teams. Games are 1 hour duration played indoors at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre. All teams train.

Premier Reserve 1-5 grades are the next tier down and features a range of club and college teams. Collegiate 1 and Senior 1 grades compete for promotion into Premier Reserve. Games are 40 minutes duration played indoors at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre. Most teams train.

Senior grades sit under Premier Reserve with a mix of competitive and social teams. Lower grades tend to be more social. Games are 40 minutes duration played indoors at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre. Some teams train, others do not - it really comes down to which club you choose.

Our Collegiate grades play separate to our club players. Games are 40 minutes duration. Grades 1-3 play indoors at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre. Grades 4-6 play outdoors at Hataitai Netball Courts. Many teams train.

Our Junior Collegiate grades play in their own competition of Year 9 & 10 players. Games are 40 minutes duration played outdoors at Hataitai Netball Courts.  Many teams train.

Our social Twilight, College, Intermediate and Year 6 leagues offer social and competitive womens and mixed grades played on a week night. Games are 40 minutes duration. Most teams don't train. Teams made up of friends, co-workers and individuals most welcome.

join our social week night leagues catering to a range of ages, nights and competitiveness with the choice of women's only, mixed and men's grades to pick from.

If you are a current or former representative level player transferring from another region...
we invite you to contact us directly so we can keep you informed of local representative trial dates and further development opportunities for your age group.

If you're male & keen to continue playing...
we're still trying to get a men's or mixed competitive league for adults and college players up and running. We currently offer mixed and men's grades in our Twilight competition.
