Term 1 Netball Season Kick-Start
Prepares players Year 5-13 to start the season well & give your best at school trials & rep trials.
Work on:
- setting an aerobic base (work at an intensity that gets your heart rate up!)
- court agility (get your feet moving fast!)
- core and strength work (build up your body balance so you can deliver strong passes, shoot well, hold your lean while on defence and contest any loose ball and rebounds!)
- improving your play (so you can enjoy your game!)
Venue: Ākau Tangi Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington
All genders, ability/disability & level of experience welcome
Year 5-8:
Mondays
2026 starts 9 February, ends 16 March
6-week duration
4.30pm to 5.30pm weekly
Cost: $100
Year 9-13:
Tuesdays
2026 starts 10 February, ends 17 March
6-week duration
4.30pm to 6.00pm weekly
1.5 hour per week for this age group to further extend learning
Cost: $120
Coaches
NWC Development Staff joined by guest specialist coaches where available.
Coach development opportunity
Sessions open to coaches at no cost to learn practical tips and gather fresh ideas.
Session plan provided. Indicate interest to admin@netballwellington.co.nz before the session.
