What is Twilight Netball?

Twilight is a 7-a-side Netball Competition run at Hataitai Courts (outdoors) and Ākau Tangi Sports Centre (indoors). Netball Wellington Centre offers Women’s, Mixed and now Men's grades, with levels from Competitive through to Social. We maintain our fair-play rule throughout this competition and encourage all teams to show these during games. Click the Fair-Play Rule button to learn more. 

Games are 40 minutes and are a great way to maintain fitness, meet new people and foster team building within organisations. Our Mama Brown Twilight competition is open to adult teams and college teams (following the age criteria in our rules). 

This year we also have forms for umpires and individuals interested in our Twilight leagues.

Wednesday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 9-week competition starts 16 July to 17 September (NO GAMES Weds 27 Aug - Winter Tournament Week) – Cost $600 - At capacity - please email games@netballwellington.co.nz for waitlist

Thursday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 9-week competition starts 17 July to 18 September (NO GAMES Weds 28 Aug - Winter Tournament Week) – Cost $600 - At capacity - please email games@netballwellington.co.nz for waitlist

Plus $15 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution.

TERM 4 (SPRING)

Monday nights (In The Sun) at Hataitai Netball Courts – 9-week competition - starts 6 October to 8 December (NO GAMES Mon 27 October - Labour Day) ​​​​​​​- Cost $415

Wednesday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 10-week competition starts 8 October to 10 December – Cost $650

Thursday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 10-week competition starts 9 October to 11 December – Cost $650

Plus $15 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution.

Wednesday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 9-week competition starts 12 February to 9 April – Cost $600 - FULL

Thursday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre -9-week competition starts 13 February to 10 April – Cost $600 - FULL
