The 2025 NZPCA Conference Workshops are designed to equip our members, volunteers, and leaders with practical tools, fresh insights, and shared strategies to strengthen Pony Club at every level. With two full days of parallel sessions, this year's programme offers targeted content to support the wide range of roles across NZPCA, whether you're involved in club governance, coaching, health and safety, membership, or event delivery.
The workshops are also a valuable opportunity to collaborate, build connections, and share solutions that benefit the wider Pony Club community.
Networking & Collaboration
This year’s schedule includes more time for informal connection, peer learning, and cross-club discussions, recognising that some of the best ideas come from simply talking to others who face similar challenges and opportunities.
The National Forum provides an open platform for members, Clubs, Areas, and other stakeholders to come together to discuss and explore key themes related to Pony Club events, national programmes, rider pathways, and broader opportunities for development and collaboration.
It is intended to:
Promote shared understanding of national initiatives and programmes.
Provide visibility and voice to members, including those not on committees, about operational topics and future directions.
Encourage nationwide dialogue on ideas raised at Area Forums and through Items of Business.
Support transparency and collaboration between NZPCA leadership and grassroots members.
Like Area Forums, the National Forum is for discussion only, and no votes or binding decisions are made.
It is open to all members, not just elected representatives, and serves as a key opportunity for feedback and engagement ahead of the AGM.
Any Area and Club that is unable to have its Delegate/s present at the Annual General Meeting may choose to exercise its Area or Club’s vote(s) for the 3rd August 2025 New Zealand Pony Clubs Association Incorporated AGM by completing this form (Rule 25.4) instead of voting in person through its Delegate/s (Rule 24.14).
