The Sporting Year at ACG Tauranga

Our sporting calendar follows the school year, with:

  • Summer Sport: Terms 1 and 4

  • Winter Sport: Terms 2 and 3

2026 Registrations Are Now Open

Registration forms for all sports can be found on each sporting code page under the Sports tab.

  • Summer Sports (Term 1):Registrations close Week 2 of Term 1.

  • Winter Sports (Terms 2–3):Registrations close before the end of Term 1, particularly for sports requiring trials.Winter sports begin early in Term 2, so we aim to have all teams confirmed by the end of Term 1.

    Sports Handbook

    We encourage all students, parents, coaches, and managers to read our Sports Handbook (accessible via the button below). It outlines the key guidelines, processes, and policies that help ensure sport at ACG Tauranga is a positive, well-organised, and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

    Code of Behaviour

    Sport at ACG Tauranga should be enjoyable, respectful, and safe for all—students, supporters, officials, and our wider sporting community.Our expectations are outlined in the Code of Behaviour, found within the Sports Handbook.

    Before each season begins, all Coaches, Managers, and Students are required to sign a Code of Behaviour Contract.A link to these contracts is provided below.

    Police Vetting

    In line with ACG Schools’ policies, all adults in contact with students must complete a Police Vetting form.

    If you have previously completed Police Vetting for school trip transport and/or supervision, camps, or prior coaching/management roles, your clearance remains valid for two years.

    This process can take up to four weeks, so please see our receptionist to complete the application as soon as possible, if you are considering assisting with one of these roles.

    Sporting Success 

    Please keep us informed of your child's sporting achievements outside of school, so we can celebrate their success and keep records for end of year prizegiving recognition.  Please click the link below to tell us about your child's achievement.
