Our Athletics Days are key highlights of our sporting calendar, giving students the opportunity to challenge themselves, support their peers, and celebrate school and house spirit.
This event also serves as a qualifying event for the Bay of Plenty Secondary School Athletics Championships on Thursday 12 March.
For students aspiring to qualify for next stage events – the top three (3) athletes per year group will be considered. Selection will be based on the qualifying standard and/or the top three results from the 2025 next stage event.
Years 9–13 (Secondary School)

Students in Years 5–8 and Years 9–13 will be required to register for the events they wish to enter. Event and registration details will be shared prior to each Athletics Day.
To be eligible for Athletics Awards presented at our end-of-year Sports Prizegiving, students must compete in a minimum of four events, consisting of either:
Students may compete in more than four (4) events if the event schedule allows. However, award calculations will be based on the best four (4) results that meet the above criteria.
