Our teams compete in a weekly school competition administered by WaiBOP Football.

Available to:

  • Year 11–13: Baywide Youth 1st XI Boys and Girls
  • Year 09–10: U15 Baywide 14th / 15th Grade

NB: Younger year levels participate through the club pathway rather than school-based competitions.

Training

  • 1st XI Girls and Boys:
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30–5:00pm
  • U15:
    • TBC, subject to sufficient numbers
    • Historically, U15 players train with the 1st XI programme

Officials / Referees

  • Teams are required to provide a referee for all home fixtures​​​​​​​

Cancellations

Bulk cancellation decisions will be made by 7.30am on Saturday morning, and WaiBOP will advise of cancellations as early as possible.  If individual clubs/schools close their grounds then WaiBOP will endeavour to get this information on the cancellation page as soon as they can.

Registration

Before completing the registration form, please ensure you have read all information relating to the season, including eligibility, schedule, training commitments and competition requirements.

Tournaments

New Zealand Secondary Schools Tournament Week takes place annually and in 2026 will be from ​​​Monday 31 August (departing Sunday 30 August) to Friday 4 September.

If a student intends to trial or play for a 1st XI team, or is involved in multiple 1st XI sports (e.g., Football and Hockey), they must indicate on the registration form which tournament they intend to attend. This ensures placement and selections can be managed appropriately for both teams.

Uniform:

  • ACG Sports uniform and socks provided.
  • Students are to supply mouthguards, football boots, and shin guards.

Fees: 

  • 1st XI (Boys): $TBC* ​​​​​​​
  • ​​​​​​​1st XI (Girls):  $350* 
  • U15 (Boys): No team in 2025

​​​​​​​*If the team is entered into NZ Secondary School Winter Tournament Week, this will be an additional fee.  ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
