RIPPA and Rugby

RIPPA Teams

Available To:

  • Primary: Years 01–06
  • Intermediate: Years 07–08

League Day & Time:

  • Games are played on Thursdays at Waipuna Park starting 19 February

Team Composition:

  • Teams can be boys, girls, or mixed (minimum of two girls per team).
  • Mixed teams are encouraged, as this is the preferred option from the organiser.

Volunteers Required:

  • Each team must have a volunteer Coach, Manager, and Umpire for entry to be confirmed.

We are not currently represented in Rugby but endeavour to provide pathways for all students to participate.

As we do not have a rugby team students do have the option to play for other schools if there is space within their teams. 

Students also have the option to join the Otumoetai Barbarian Rugby programme, which is a combined school rugby programme developed by Otumoetai College.
