ACG Tauranga Golf Tournament Update

We were very much looking forward to hosting our inaugural ACG Tauranga Golf Tournament next month (6 October), following the introduction of our Golf Programme earlier this year.

It is therefore with disappointment that we share the difficult decision to cancel the 2025 event, as we did not receive the minimum number of registrations required to proceed. We know that some families had intended to join us but had not yet completed their entry forms; however, even with these included, we were unable to reach the numbers needed to make the event a reality.

This outcome is not a reflection of our community’s enthusiasm for golf, but rather the reality of competing priorities within a challenging economic and business environment.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the installation of our new on-site golf simulator, which will further strengthen our programme and help build momentum for a successful tournament in 2026.

We are very grateful to our generous supporters and sponsors and will also be exploring ways to incorporate golf into our end-of-year Community Event.
