Our teams play in a weekly competition administered by Tauranga City Basketball Association.

Term 2-3 - Winter Season

Secondary School (Years 9–13)

Senior (Year 11–13)

• Grade: A (Stop Clock)
• Competition / Season Dates:  6 May – 26 August (14 Weeks)
• Games: Wednesdays.  No games on 24 June (Prem only), 9 or 16 July.
• Training: Thursdays, 3:30–5:00pm, ACG Gymnasium

Junior (Year 9–10)

• Grade: Age-group (Running Clock)
• Competition: 11 weeks
• Games: Fridays
• Training: To be confirmed

Intermediate (Years 7–8)

Grades: A & B Boys and Girls, C & D Boys, Mixed Grade

• Competition:  11 May – 31 August 2026 (14 weeks) 
• Games: Mondays.  No games on 1 June, 6 and 13 July.
• Training: To be confirmed

Primary School

Years 5–6

• Competition: 8 May – 28 August (14 weeks)
• Games: Fridays.  No games on 10 and 17 July.  
• Training: To be confirmed

Years 3–4

• Competition: 5 May – 25 August (14 weeks)
• Games: Tuesdays.  No games 7 and 14 July.  
• Training: To be confirmed

Little League

• Competition: Two 6-week blocks
  • Term 2: 11 May – 22 June (6 weeks)
  • Term 3: 20 July – 31 August 2026 (7 weeks)
• Games: Mondays.  No games on 1 June.  
• Training: To be confirmed

League Day & Dates: 

• Term 1:  Monday's 16 February – 30 March (7-week competition)
• Term 4:  Monday's 19 October – 14 December (8 weeks)

Game Times:  Between 4:00–6:00pm

Game Location: Mercury Baypark and/or Haumaru Sports Centre

Competition Details:

• Each team shall consist of a minimum of four (4) to maximum of five (5) players.  Three (3) players on the court and two (2) substitutes.
• Each team must provide 1 adult scorer
• Paid referees are provided
• Only players are permitted on the playing court
• No coaches are allowed on the court or coaching from the sidelines during game situations
• Each team must have a parent Team Manager, who is permitted to substitute players as required

Uniform:

• Sports uniform will be provided. 
• Plain white socks must be purchased/worn with appropriate sports shoes.
• Mouthguards must be worn.
